Here is the ranking of the seven languages according to the January 2011 TIOBE index:

Ruby 10
Clojure (Lisp) 13
Haskell 41
Prolog 45
Erlang 48
Scala 50
Io > 50

My comment is that two of the seven can be seen more or less as mainstream languages, while four can be seen more or less as niche languages. I think this is about right for a book of this kind.
