Chapter 6 - SCSS / app ignores stylesheet?

Hello All
I searched for this but didn’t see any topics about it (apologies if I missed something)

Chapter 6, “Creating the Application”
I have copied the products.css.scss file into the correct directory but my main products page does NOT use the stylesheet (looks awful) I even stopped/restarted the webrick server. I can see (using chrome dev tools) that the stylesheet is “Seen” by the browser and the classes are correct but it’s like the app ignores the stylesheet

am I missing a gem? missing setup?

I am running windows 7 64 bit using rails 3, ruby 191 and mysql.

RESOLVED!

I missed a closing tag for which had everything screwy

the missing TD/TR tags and classes triggered it for me
