when i tried creating AVD it reports me back with an error.

the error goes in this way.

[2012-10-26 11:50:25 – SDK Manager] Unable to find a ‘userdata.img’ file for ABI armeabi to copy into the AVD folder.

can someone plz help me out in resolving this problem.

while creating AVD select CPU/ABI option as ARM.
it worked for me..

A quick google search turned up these. Looks like the location of the image changed in an SDK update:
