Hi, I would like to know how to setup the camera as background service. I would have need to make an augmented reality application. Which would mean analyse data flow from camera but not display it. thanks in advance

Hi Fanny, you can choose not to display the camera image, but you’d set up the camera exactly like in the Getting Started example. In addition you can start() and stop() the camera using the Ketai methods when you choose to, and also look into the Android life cycle pause the camera when you need to. The PImage that is returned from the camera can be interpreted and used, without drawing it on the screen. Best, Daniel
