I am communicating between an Arduino with a bluetooth module and a Nexus 7 (2nd gen) and I am having this error for “most” incoming communications. I say most because sometimes the data is received properly. Mainly when it gets started, but after a few “back and forth” communications, that error is pretty consistent. What could cause this error? I looked at the source code a bit, all it told me was that an error without a description was happening, because the “null” should be the error message!

“Error in reading connection data.:null”

Thanks

I did some more troubleshooting, and still can’t find the answer. But I did find an earlier version of my code where this problem didn’t occur. I went through everything, and the only difference is that in one version, the meesages to be sent are stored in an array list so I the program has a “run” method that gets called within the “draw()” method.

Is it possible that having the “broadcast” method call within a “run” (thread-like) causes the problem?
