Anyone still on the forum? :-) Guess not !! I would love to understand why property edits to the Recipe objects are not made aware to the document. updateChangeCount is called whenever an object ( a Recipe) is added, deleted, or edited. And, theoretically, a “dirty” document will be saved…so not sure how to understand this. I guess the key to understanding this is to understand the lines at the bottom of the page. “We need two ways for the editor to signify changes: one that “editing on this recipe is done” and the second that says ” a property on this recipe has been edited”. So to formalize the question. Why is only the first way insufficient? Any insight appreciated. |
