Hi-

I’m working my way through awdwr and am on page 102, iteration C2. As noted in the book, when I made the change to add CartItems, I got the error that starts with:

NoMethodError in StoreController#add_to_cart.....

The book says to issue:

rake db:sessions:clear

This did not clear my sessions, however, when I used:

rake tmp:sessions:clear

it worked! Using MySQL Query Browser to look at the session table, I see that no data is ever being written to the db. Am I doing something wrong here? Why is session data not being written to the database? What is a ‘tmp’ session?
