I am thinking of teaching a course using this book, Lean from the Trenches. I like to have students use class time in a workshop setting working together on something that they typically present back to the class. The goal of these workshops is either to deepen their grasp of the concepts or to give them confidence that they can actually DO it.

My question is whether anyone has already thought of interesting workshop style projects that would work well with this book.

As a simple example of what I am talking about, there is a very nice diagram at the beginning of Chapter 2 showing how a 30 person project was structured. A workshop exercise could be to come up with a structure that would work for a 5 person team, a 10 person team, and a 150 person team.

Thanks, -Fred
