Could I use some of the sample code as a basis for building our own test suite?

I’d really like to use # env.js # App.js # sandbox,js

If I can use them, should I just leave the copyright as is?

Good question. I’m not entirely sure how that works with Pragmatic books, but I do know that the basis of the book is showing you how to roll your own environment, screen objects and sandbox. If your code looks like what is in the book, it’s because I taught it to you that way. :)

I think the main concern is attribution. If you put an “inspired by” line in there that should be good enough.

Are you going to release this publicly?

No, it’s for internal use only. And I’m happy to leave the existing comment text at the top of the files I’m using, or modify it to an attribution if I change the file substantially.

It took me a while to figure out how the overall structure hangs together, now I’ve got a small working test suite. I can’t thank you enough for this book.
