I was only looking for more of your easy to follow and pertinent
examples, as I’m hoping to use Ruby to quickly develop a test tool
to send and receive XML ‘structured messages’over a TCP/IP stream
(not using Web Services) in order to do some load and capacity
checks of another application written in C running on OpenVMS Alpha.

I’m sorry to say I never wrote that supplement. I’m working to get a decent draft of a book on RubyCocoa done before Apple’s WWDC, so I won’t be able to do any work on an XML supplement before then (at the very earliest). What would you want out of a supplement?

Am loving this book but looking for more in processing XML .. page
154 (in my PDF version of the book, version 2007-1-25) mentions
a forthcoming supplement “Working with XML and XPath” ; does this
exist yet ? (and if so where ?)
