I&#8217;m going through the &#8220;Full-Text Search with Sphinx&#8221; recipe and I&#8217;ve run into a problem that I can&#8217;t get past. When I try to to do &#8216;search.run&#8217; on page 136 (after completing the tasks up to that point) I get an error that says, &#8220;Ultrasphinx::DaemonError: searchd error (status: 1): client version is higher than daemon version (client is v.1.18, daemon is v.1.15)&#8221;. I can&#8217;t find any traces of the versions that the error mentions or the text of the error message.
