nginx [is this forum alive?]

Just in case it’s alive …

I’m having problems using nginx on OS X 10.5.x

I think should be a simple mistake, I can’t access to my Rails apllication on my Deployment machine.

Now I just want to make a simple proof, just select any folder and serve some index.html from there, but I’m having the same problem, I can’t reach any page, I only get the Welcome to nginx! and the 404 Not Found – nginx/0.6.34

I found some examples of different config files and some are very different from the ones found in the book.

I have to say that my Deployment machine has not any domain, I just type to localhost to get the pages.

My Rails deployment is /u/apps/scanner/current/public

root /u/apps/scanner/current/public;
