Will this book be updated to address some of the transitions made in Prototype 1.6? For instance. Class inheritance is now much cleaner and more modern in 1.6 than it was in previous versions. Not only that, but class creation itself seems to be much more straight forward by passing what looks like an object literal into the Class.create() method itself.

It appears to me that 1.6 is really a pretty major version change from what I’ve seen in the beta book I purchased yesterday.

I was very happy to see the recent updates in the book. I’m so glad the book and it’s code examples have been updated to reflect Prototype 1.6 as they are pretty major upgrades from 1.5.

Thank you kindly.

Yes, the book is 100% up to date on Prototype 1.6, as we’ve been careful to sync our releases.

nice work. That’s the kind of thoughtfulness that got me to buy this book.
