      <description>&lt;p&gt;Thanks for the report, Hans. I&amp;#8217;m not sure why figure 11.10 looks that way in the &lt;span class="caps"&gt;PDF&lt;/span&gt;, because the original source image (a &lt;span class="caps"&gt;TIFF&lt;/span&gt;, not a &lt;span class="caps"&gt;JPEG&lt;/span&gt;) looks fine. I will ask Dave and Andy if they have any suggestions.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Nice book Lyle!&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;Some of the screendumps have &amp;#8216;jpeg artefacts&amp;#8217;, some have not. It is visible around text labels. Would be nice to correct them before going in print&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;example: fig 11.10 is bad, fig 11.11 is good&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;PS: my pdf was genearated on january 22&lt;/p&gt;</description>
