FXRuby and Fonts...

I’m moving into the using-fxruby-to-build-commercial-apps space… A lot of fun for real. It’s not all just Rails and web browsers out here. :)

However, I’m lacking fonts. I’m running on Leopard (at night) and the X11 from Apple comes with a very pedestrian offering. I tried to go the route of pulling in the /Library/Fonts following the instructions in a few notes I found on the net, but that went nowhere. I then tried to pull in the Fink applesystemfonts, but that blew away my X11 to the point that I had to pull it back from my TimeMachine (praise Steve! – things were very severely thrummed and I was running scared; nothing was working!)

In any case, how the heck does one get new fonts into FXRuby? This is probably more of an X11R6 issue, but I am thinking more holistically about FXRuby, the Universe, and Everything. :)
