Will there be a version 2.1 of this book?

Hi,
I have bought the Agile Web Development with Rails, Third Edition book (which at time of this post is still in beta) and I’m now looking for more of a reference book to complement this.

I thought that this might well be the book that would do this and was wondering if this was going to end up being a version 2.1 book rather than a 1.9 seeing as so much has changed.

I am in desperate need of a definitive 2.1 guide and would be gratefull for any pointers

There is no version 2.1 of Ruby. 1.9 is the bleeding edge.

Ruby is distrinct from Rails—it it the language that Rails is written in, and it has a totally independent existence. Many (perhaps most) Ruby programmers have never used Rails.
