Which library is used in this book? posted by Josh Kieschnick @ Mon, 17 Mar 2008 16:09:51 -0000

i was definitely glad to hear that Facebooker was used after recently reading that rFacebook’s author might not continue development

I’m really enjoying the book so far. Thanks.

Which library is used in this book? posted by Mike Mangino @ Thu, 13 Mar 2008 19:41:50 -0000

This book uses Facebooker. While it hasn’t existed for as long as rFacebook, it does support almost all of the Facebook API, and in a much more Ruby-like way.

Of course, most of the theory would hold true for rFacebook as well, there just might be a few implementation differences.

Which library is used in this book? posted by Mark Slater @ Thu, 13 Mar 2008 17:51:35 -0000

I wasn’t able to tell from the table of contents or other descriptions. I know there are two Ruby libraries that we can choose between: Facebooker and rFacebook. They seem to be very different, with the former being more “Ruby-like” but the latter being more mature. Which does the book use? Or is it agnostic on the subject?

Thanks!
