I appear to have said it all in the title. Using iBooks on an iPad running iOS 6.1.2.

The figure which (on the PDF version) shows an H is instead composed of a straight line of I characters. Needless to say, when you’re trying to “see” the H the text indicates should be there under these circumstances you start thinking you have brain disfunction.
