We need some quotes from readers to print in the book and on the back cover. Imagine somebody picks up the book at the store and starts thumbing through it. You’re standing next to them and they ask for your advice. What would you say? Was it helpful? Will it save them time? Does it cover the most important points without rehashing the online doc? Give us a nice quote and you could see your name in print. |

Having worked through the examples in the book I can say that I feel I understand what makes Android tick and I acquired a working knowledge that is good to get me started writing my own applications. The book holds your hand with your first steps on Android and gets you to a comfortable walking pace. I like the book and look forward to the release version. |

I would say this book is the best way to quick start android, rather than searching the net and trying out with stuffs that wont work with Android 1.0. It helps a lot when you are looking for fast results. |
