I can run the program for section 3.8 (Adding Settings); it runs and the “Sudoku settings” window comes up, but the “Music”, “Hints” and their summary text does not appear. The checkboxes are there.

All is coded according to the book; strings.xml, menu.xml, Sudoku.java, settings.xml, Prefs.java, AndroidManifest.xml

Hello,
I had some issues with running the Sudoku first example. When I downloaded and try to run the source code it is still having the same issues.
Does it have to do with the Android version?
