Was there any discussion on workflow, and going through the screencasts…

Anyone else who has worked through these screencasts have any suggestions on following along?
It looks like a person could practically follow along and type the code into a split screen setup, with the screencasts up top and the code editor down below.

Also I’m not sure I knew Ryan had chose to use an external code editor, for a production site, I really think that’s sort of imperative for keeping up to speed, and still having pretty code, if you know what I mean. I’ll probably use Aptana, since I’m on Win.

I finally took the plunge and bought all 10 screencasts.
Curious how Ryan edited the whole project, it seems to smooth to just be one live take.
I’m kind of sad I wasted the summer waiting on EE v.2 to come out now, knowing these screencasts should be as good as ever when v.2 comes out. The control panel menus may change, but that would not be that big of an obstacle. Finding the necessary controls in the v.2 panel will be good practice, once we get v.2!

Hey all, he it works great to have the quicktime movies open in a 640px width windows and your EE control panel open on the right in a 640px width size window of your browser to work on the setup tutorials in real time. If you’re running at least a 1280px screen setting, 1024 might work too, with some adjustment.
