MSM question

Great screencasts by the way.

My question is have you had a chance to develop wit the multisitemanager yet? i have a few question if you have as i am stuck on just a few things. I have MSM running locally (not sure if you think this is a good idea or not and wether i should build it on the server?)

1. i have six sites all with different content and one main site that acts like the gateway to all the other sites. I have links from the gateway site that take the user to each individual user but i am not sure what tags to use for the navigation. If it was just one site i would know which tags to use for the navigation but as this is MSM i am a little unsure. I am using the ‘site’ tag to embed common elements like footer and header, news section etc but for the nav i am stumped. Any ideas or tips?
