I’m working my way through Episode Seven and am encountering problems. The extension is installed, I set up the podcast_feed template as instructed (I think? I’m wondering where you have weblog_name and weblog_description if we’re supposed to be substituting podcast_name and podcast_description, but can’t find any instructions on this).

Anyway, also set up the weblog, and after some fiddling around to get the upload paths and URL correct, managed to upload your sample mp3 file and create the First Episode weblog

BUT then the problem is that when you run the curl command in terminal it says there are no entries in this feed. So even though the file is uploading and you can see the weblog in the Edit list, it’s not publishing out to the feed. Can you provide suggestions (on the “for dummies level”) for how to trouble shoot this?

ALSO, how would you do this if what you want to publish is an .mov file for a video cast?

Finally, what if you just want to embed a video with a news article as opposed to publishing a whole podcast/vodcast? And is there a way to credit videos obtained from third parties?
