Enjoying this series. Own and watched all ten, now am going back through & following along with code – much more fun that way. This is totally a TextMate support question, so please excuse: I noticed Ryan had his TextMate set up to display the Expression Engine tags in red. I messed with the Scope Selector under Preferences>Fonts & Colors in TextMate but couldn’t figure out how to do it. Would anyone mind sharing how this is done? Thanks in advance, Eric |

Hey, Eric. Thanks for the message and I’m glad you’re enjoying the series! I’m using a custom EE bundle to make the code highlight (and for shortcuts). You can get it here: http://www.chrisruzin.net/entry/textmate_expressionengine_bundle/ |

BTW, I’m using the BBEdit theme with the Inconsolata font. Some people find it easier to follow along if everything is the same color. :) |

Tech note: For those of you who are, like me, new to customizing TextMate. Once you download and install the (excellent) bundle Ryan linked to above, be sure to change the ‘Language’ pull down menu at the bottom of your TextMate file window from HTML to ExpressionEngine. That, plus a quick theme change under Preferences>Fonts & Colors>BBEdit |

For the full effect, you may also want to install the textmate-missingdrawer plugin. |

Hi Am I missing something, but the BBEdit Theme has a light background whereas the background in the textmate seen here http://eeinsider.com/videos/show/query-module-basics is dark? Would you mind sharing the name of the dark theme too? |

Peter, I’m using the monoindustrial theme, which is available here: http://wiki.macromates.com/Themes/UserSubmittedThemes |
