Any plans to discuss the SMS/Alarm/Alert subsystem? I’m hoping to write an app that allow SMS messages to repeatedly alarm at a given interval with a given sound until answered.

Like the idea. I can think of many apps that could include sending SMS & acting on an SMS being recieved

This is a +1 for the chapter or section on alarms, alerts, sms. Also, is there any way in which I can create an entry into the iphone calendar? I do not want to force my user to sync ics files or anything like that.
