I wonder if the authors have considered providing a picture, for chapter 2, illustrating what they did. I drew a quick sketch showing the views, controllers, outlets, delegates, with the text of the relevant methods. At a glance I could see what was going on, and believe it would be especially beneficial for the visual learners among us. |

I can’t second this enough. I think that a simple diagram that illustrates the above will help those of us coming from a different language/world understand the analogs to what we already know. That’s the primary challenge I feel with Objective-C and coding on this platform. I feel like these are already concepts, patterns and structures that I know innately, I just don’t understand the jargon. Having pictures to outline the relationships would be very beneficial. |

Gets my vote. I’m trying to cross over from Visual Basic on a PC, getting my head around all these controllers, views, and delegates needs all the help I can get. |

I would agree whole heartedly that a diagram would be a great aid in comprehending the material! Along similar lines (although I realize this is a beta book) some of the figures in the book are much too small to read. I hope the authors/editors/layout artists will correct this at some point. |

Heard and understood. Sorry to be so late responding here. I’ve been traveling the last two weeks. I will get this diagram into the next beta. Thanks for the great feedback! |
