There’s some interesting code in the screencast that I’d like to use as a starting point for my own code, but it all has an “all rights reserved” copyright. What usage rights, if any, do we who bought the screencast have to the sample code? ...Richard |

Hi Richard, The code is supposed to be released under the Apache 2.0 license which basically means you can do with it what you will. I attempted to ensure that every file said so at the top but its very likely that I missed one or more. If you let me know which file in particular I’d be happy to get you and updated copy that says Apache 2 at the top. Thanks! |

In particular, I was considering the SQLiteAccess code. I notice that all of the .h and .m files in the samples for this screencast have the XCode default headers (w/ an “all rights reserved” copyright.) I have your permission here, so there’s no need to sweat getting me something special. You can always revise the sample source code later. Take it easy, ...Richard |

Daniel, There was a link to the code for each lesson on the same page where the videos could be downloaded IIRC… |

Perhaps there “was” ot perhaps I am missing it but I do not see it. I see QuickTime, iPod and OGG links for each episode but no code link.
I’m looking at page: http://www.pragprog.com/screencasts/downloads/242782 |

Hi Daniel, The source code is available at: http://pragprog.com/screencasts/v-bdiphone/source_code There’s a link to that URL on the main screencast page: http://pragprog.com/screencasts/v-bdiphone You raise a good point: We should have a download link on the page where you download your screencasts, too. I’ll try to make that happen soon. Thanks! Mike |
