Please refer to erratum #48068.

Does this error indicate

a) IcedTea is not a suitable Java replacement for Scala;
b) Java 7 has breaking changes against the book;
c) Breaking changes in Scala 2.9.1 v. scala circa 2009;
d) all of the above;
e) none of the above?

Great book, but seems like an updated edition is needed, especially since the Prag Newsletter has been “pushing” Scala the last couple months.
