Greetings from Australia.

I’m working through the book and I’m completely stuck at the old school Roman Numerals example.

Even the answers don’t make sense to me.

How is the num passed to the correct ‘roman’? I’m assuming I need to understand modulus better but can someone give me a break down…before I break down :)

So, I took Chris’ advice in an earlier post and started the book again from scratch (like his son did with Portal).

The concepts that I struggled with initially now make more sense and if I’m unable to complete an exercise, I can at least understand the code at the end of the book.

I’m going to work through the book until the end and then give it another run through, just to make sure the concepts stick.
