on page 3 of learn to program 2 edition it says to check if ruby was installed right type ruby -v in the command line I did and it says it is not recognized please help.am I doing somthing wrong. version of ruby:1.9.2-p180 |

Are you on Windows, Mac, or Linux? If “ruby -v” is not recognized, then it sounds like something went wrong in the installation. It sounds like it didn’t add the path to Ruby to your PATH variable. (This is how your command line knows where Ruby was installed.) Where did you download the installation from? |
