Hi All

Am starting to learn Objective C. I’d like to follow the tutorial from “Episode 1 - Classes, Objects, and Messages”. However there is no “Command Line Utility” template for my project. I have a new iMac and just installed Snow Leopard followed by the current version of xCode (I can build iPhone apps BTW). Any thoughts, suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Thx Jon

Hi Jon,

Make sure to select the mac templates instead of the iphone templates to see the command line project template.

Good luck!

Hi Bill

I checked that, under Mac templates I have Framework & Library, Application Plug-in, System Plug-in and Other. No other templates exist. Any other thoughts?

Thx Jon

Hi Jon,

In Xcode 3.2 its under Mac OS X -> Application -> Command Line Tool. Make sure to change the pull down to Foundation so that your template will be set up to link against the Foundation framework.

Good luck!
