Hi - I’ve been going through the memory allocation Obj-C screencast again today. I am in Xcode 3.2.2. Following along, when running the Movie_Player executable through the Leaks Instrument, rather than running and continually showing discovered leaks as in the screencast video, for me it just runs once and stops. Each time I hit the record button, it runs one more time and stops. The program itself should not be exiting - in fact, if you just debug it and don’t do it in Instruments, it is looping forever as in Bill’s example.
Is there some kind of Instruments setting that would be making it stop debugging? When Instruments starts it up, it stops after 1094 overall allocations, which is about 1 second of run time.
