So after spending some time today to actual grok tmux, I have to say I’m impressed. That said, the information that’s out there on it isn’t extremely well organized. There’s some gems online, but no one true source. The manpage is great, but only once you know what you’re looking for.

Case in point, I spent a good bit of time trying to figure out how to essentially pipe a command over to a running session. I tried every permutation I could think of to find it in the manual, but short of reading it line I fell short. Until I saw someone else doing it with @send-keys@. Makes sense after the fact, but I spent more time than I’d have liked to on.

I think tmux would be well suited to a guide like the Prag Guide series. Most Unix’y people already have a good grasp as to what the task should be - I was literally trying to pipe characters to the running session in my mind - so organization should be a breeze.
