Hi James, the book looks great, just digging into setting up my env. now to write some code/tests. One quick suggestion – it would be a lot more user friendly if you put the code up on github so readers could a) browse it b) clone / fork it c) see history.
Also the Makefile fails for me with a ton of errors on Mac OS X Lion - gcc and the latest XCode installed. It would be simpler if you broke the sample code up into a couple of simpler projects – each in its own git repo with its own Makefile. I’m just getting started with Unity first, and it is easier to grok a single dedicated repo for the Unity code / tests than it is trying to figure out how the directory structure and makefiles all relate to each for the code in the entire book.
Just my $.02 – thanks for taking the time to write the book. I look forward to finishing it.
