someone please help me out, I am new and learning Arduino.

when compiling NunChukDemo, I got following error:

nunchuk.cpp:1:22: error: WProgram.h: No such file or directory

I can not find WProgram.h from Arduino 1.0 installation, it seems that WProgram.h did not exist, can anyone tell why?

other error is: wire.send() function was renamed to wire.write(), but if I change the code to wire.write(), it would complain with following error: nunchuk.cpp: 27: errir: call of overloaded ‘write(int)’ is ambiguous

I am using Arduino 1.0, is the code from the book compatible with the Arduino 1.0 ?

Thanks a lot for the help

-Jeff

Hi Jeff!

The book’s code is mostly compatible with Arduino 1.0. Only the Nunchuk example and some of the Ethernet examples have to be modified. This will be done in the next reprint.

Until then you can see how to modify the Nunchuk demo here: http://forums.pragprog.com/forums/129/topics/10136

Cheers, Maik

Maik, Thanks a lot for the help. it would be helpful if this modification was posted somewhere obvious to readers, I am sure I am not the only one having this problem.

Great book! have a good day
