Hi,

Using this I pretty much seem to ‘hang’ my Arduino. I use 0018: Serial.println(0.00);

Any suggestions as to why?

Cheers, Tom.

Hi Tom!

I am afraid I cannot reproduce this behavior. When I compile and upload the following sketch with Arduino IDE 18 to an Arduino Duemilanove:

void setup() {
  Serial.begin(9600);
  Serial.println("Started.");
  Serial.println(0.00);
  Serial.println("I am still alive!");
}

void loop() {
}

I get the following output:

Started.
0.00
I am still alive!

That’s what I’d expected.

Can you, please, explain your problem in more detail or show the whole sketch you’re using?

Cheers, Maik

Hi Maik,

Thanks for the response. Just tried it again (different board) and now I’m getting the same results.

Never mind …

Cheers, Tom
