Hi I am a Rails newbie, and using this book to learn Rails.
I am running Mac OS X v10.6.7 I get the following error when I try to install rails:

Last login: Mon May 30 16:27:32 on ttys001
armac:~ Anders$ sudo gem install rails
Password:
Successfully installed rails-3.0.7
1 gem installed
Installing ri documentation for rails-3.0.7...
file 'lib' not found
Installing RDoc documentation for rails-3.0.7...
file 'lib' not found
armac:~ Anders$

</code>

I think the issue might be that I am installing into usr/bin:

armac:~ Anders$ which ruby
/usr/bin/ruby
armac:~ Anders$ which rails
/usr/bin/rails

</code>

but I don’t know how to correct that. Should I modify something in my .profile file? This is what it currently contains:

export PATH="/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:$PATH"

</code>

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
