I’ve been working through the examples in the Web Development Recipes book; it’s been great to test drive a lot of these new technologies and get a feel for what might be useful for my own projects in the future.
I ran through Recipe 14: Organizing code with Backbone.js and understood most of what was going on, but I found one bug. If you open the new product form, then cancel it, then re-open it again, this time completing the fields and saving the record, that record is added to the ProductView collection twice. It’s only persisted to the database once, so the duplicate goes away on a page reload. Is there a reason that two lines are being added to the ProductView collection in that scenario?
