I am reading 2nd chapter and testing my code on Android emulator running on Mac. The first opengl program from first chapter ran fine and showed in the emulator. Whereas the 2nd one fails at glLinkProgram. The GL_LINK_STATUS is 0 and the info string is empty. I verified the glsl code and compared the code with the one downloaded from the book’s online site. They are same.
I am compiling the code using Android Studio with target set for Android 4.0.3 version. The AVD uses Intel hardware accelerated system image with “Use Host GPU” checked. This is running on fairly recent iMac (21” iMac released in Oct 2012).
Is there any gotcha that I am missing?
