I just read the sample chapter on Zero. It has a sentence on page 4 that says, “Later they adopted a placeholder that looked like a pair of backslashes(//).

There’s a contradiction here: Either the word “backslashes” should be corrected to “slashes”, or the symbols corrected to “\”.

”/” is a “slash” (or “forward slash”). “" is a backslash.
