I am going through the first part of the book installing rails on Ubuntu 16.04 server

when i run this command, I get the following error. It is a clean install of Ubuntu and i have run the previous commands mentioned in the book, and even restarted the server.

Thanks in advance for your help

I have managed to fix this by running this command first

sudo apt-get install build-essential
