I just followed the books windows instructions for installing rails using gem on my windows 10 machine (gem install rails –version=126.96.36.199 –no-ri –no-rdoc) and got the following error:
Temporarily enhancing PATH to include DevKit… Building native extensions. This could take a while… ERROR: Error installing rails: ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.
C:/Ruby22/bin/ruby.exe -r ./siteconf20161205-9560-4r0wec.rb extconf.rb creating Makefile

make failed, uncaught signal 11
Gem files will remain installed in C:/Ruby22/lib/ruby/gems/2.2.0/gems/websocket-driver-0.6.4 for inspection. Results logged to C:/Ruby22/lib/ruby/gems/2.2.0/extensions/x64-mingw32/2.2.0/websocket-driver-0.6.4/gem_make.out
Here is my relevant gem env output:

Looked around for a solution but could not fix it. Does anyone else have the same issue currently or know a resolution?
