the book has the following:

gem ‘webpacker’, ‘~> 3.0’

Install this with bundle install.

Next, set up Webpack by running bin/rails webpacker:install

$ bin/rails webpacker:install

where the last line is in red. would it not be more consistent to also have “bundle install” in red? because it seems that the intent with red text is that this is something that you need to type in the console. I could see someone, not me of course /coughs, over looking the bundle install and ending up having some nice error spam as a result.

also, the last two lines seems a bit redundant saying bin/rails webpacker:install twice in a row.

lastly I would suggest that after the line that has:

$ bin/rails webpacker:install:react

that you recommend that they restart the rails server… at least I don’t see a comment to do that. which was what I had to do.

I’ve added a note to restart the server. The coloring isn’t something that’s easy to control (I think the typesetting software is overzealous in coloring shell sessions), so we have to assume that when the book says “Install this with «command»” the reader will do it :)
