I’m using dojo-release-1.8.1, FYI. I’ve learned that I ought to be using dojox.grid.EnhancedGrid, and that at least gets the data to display.

However, the grid row contents seem to be overlaid in the upper left of the screen, while the header row and style elements seem to draw as I would expect. It’s as if the content rows are not living inside the table but instead are added on top, separately.

Also, there are 2 checkboxes displayed in the grid, which I don’t quite understand.

Any ideas? It feels like a stylesheet issue, but my CSS fu is rather week.

Actually, I found the answer in the Errata section:

Change the @import statement for the grid style to: @import “/dojoroot/dojox/grid/resources/tundraGrid.css”;

Change all references to DataGrid, instead of Grid: dojo.require(“dojox.grid.DataGrid”);

After I made those changes, it all looks great!

I also find some problems using the examples.

I modified some codes that Matthew mentioned and tried to load the grid example again.

While loading the yahoo_remote_script.html firebug shows that

NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://localhost/dojoroot/dojox/grid/_data/model.js

Any ideals how to fix it? I can not find data folder under the grid.
