My main reason to pick up the book was to learn quickly and start working on my own application.

I am nearing my completion of the “Building an application” section of the book and would be done by today.I am simultaneously creating the app described in the book and doing all the exercises with mild effort.

I was wondering are there enough concepts i have covered to go out and start working on my own app and back referencing the book if there are any issue OR is it too early and i need to read some more sections before i start working on my app.

Depending on how complex your app is. If your intended app is merely simple CRUD operations with RESTful routes, then it’s quite simple. You can probably hack it over a weekend.

If your app is complex, then you can read all the books in the world and still may not have your answers. You’d still have to hack away at it until you get to a roadblock.

Either way, yeah, go ahead and start designing & coding to get a feel of rolling on your own ;)
