bq. 6. You can save yourself some keystrokes on commands like these by creating a ﬁle named .sqlite3rc and putting it in your home directory. In that ﬁle, place two lines: .mode line and ATTACH DATABASE db/development.sqlite3 AS development.
The file name should be: .sqliterc and the database path needs to be quoted (because of the embedded punctuation) and end with a semi-colon.
For example, here is my .sqliterc file:
