Hi,

I am really liking this book. It is very useful, even for someone experienced with the basics of core data: I’ve read/coded all of the apple tutorials. I like its pace. Also, it is the first book I’ve read that actually shows the code equivalent to @property and @synthesize. And the explanation of KVC and KVO is very well motivated.

Which is why I felt such a let down when I finished Chapter 3 and was looking forward to the nitty-gritty in chapters 4 and 5, only to find out that they don’t exist!

Any idea when we can expect to see these chapters?

Thanks.

Looking forward to those chapters myself!

I am hoping the “Under the Hood” chapter comes soon! A couple of chapters on queries and faulting would be nice, too:-)

Anyway, I hope this book keeps evolving and becomes my “All things Core Data” as I like both the content and the presentation. I believe we will see a bigger investment in this from Apple in coming releases.

Cheers, Knut

Thank you both for the kind words. You should not have to wait much longer for either the Under The Hood or Performance chapters.
