I’ve been using the code from the article here:

http://www.mac-developer-network.com/columns/coredata/may2009/

to import data from a CSV file to Core Data. The code in the article is for Mac OS, but I’m using my data in an iPhone application. I copy the model from the Mac version and paste it into the iPhone version in Xcode. Then I take the Core Date generated SQLite file and copy it to the iPhone resources folder.

So far, there don’t seem to be any problems, but I was wondering if this is a bad way to do things? Are there any differences in the SQLite formats on desktop and iPhone?

The sqlite formats are the same. You should not have any issues with what you are doing.
