Good evening,

I’m reading the book P1.0 (September 2009) and on page 74 I should add a predicate to the recipe mapping of the mapping model (v1_to_v2). I can’t find a way to do it with Xcode 4 - where can I enter the predicate?

Thanks a lot Marcus

I do not know.

There are numerous issues with Xcode4’s data modeller and I highly recommend to everyone to edit the data model (and mapping models) ONLY in Xcode3 until all of the issues are sorted out.

Hi! I’m also using Xcode 4 (4.0.2 to be exact.) I was able to enter the predicate by typing it into the box under Entity Mapping next to where it says Filter Predicate.

Can you post a screenshot? I am not seeing the area you are talking about.

Thank you. On my installs of Xcode 4.0.2 I do not see that entity mapping on the right. I see the header but there is nothing under it. Worse I get a crash when I try and go to that tab.

Glad to know it is working for somebody.

Xcode4 still has a bit to go…

The screenshot helped me a lot! The sidebar on the right was off and after activating it (the right view button on the button bar at the top of the window) I found it on the third tab and it worked.

Thanks a lot! Marcus
